Target and Prabal Gurung...When The Dust Settles

Despite my best efforts, I rarely manage to catch the Target Designer Collabs. I was a week late for the Missoni Collection, and there wasn't even a memory of the items in the store. All of the signage was gone, but I did manage to snag two travel beauty pouches that were hiding. This time I won. I checked out the collection when it previewed, and then patiently waited and waited....until everything went on sale. It helps to visit multiple Target stores. Each store has a different market, and therefore different items may be available, and the longer you wait the lower the prices drop.

This piece was my first purchase. I bought it about a month ago, so I paid more than the current price, but it is in a cut that I gravitate towards and in such a lovely color, I couldn't pass it up.

Last week on my shopping spree, I found the remaining three items, and the prices were so ridiculously low that I couldn't pass them up. And somehow between the time that I placed the items in my cart and checked out at the register, the price of this dress dropped even lower!

I wasn't sure about this skirt, because some times patterns don't really work for me, but the cut of the skirt, basic color palette and the pockets has proven it to be a welcome addition to my wardrobe.

Who doesn't need a new cardigan?
